Adventures On Your Doorstep VI

HOME

Happy Tuesday. I hope your day is going great.

I started the 'Adventures On Your Doorstep' series in January 2016. Despite taking many photos since then, I'm only now posting part six in the series. I don't really have any excuses for that, but, here we are. It's finally here. As ever, hit play on the tune to the right for a bit of background noise. It's a little bit of a cheesy number but sure we have to have that too. 🙂

For this post, I wanted to share some of the beautiful scenery I find almost on my doorstep, at home in Ballybunion. Renowned across the country for its lush beaches, and internationally for its world class golf links, there's a lot of beauty to be found here.

I grew up in Ballybunion, having moved to the town when I was only a few months old. It's my home. I'm proud of it in ways and frustrated in other ways. It's a place with so much untapped potential, and that can be hard to stomach sometimes. Still, let's not lose sight of the beauty to be found here. This is a collection of random images taken over the last while, from around this beautiful little pocket on the edge of the Atlantic.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the images in the comments below, or via any of the following sociables. If you're not already doing so, I'd appreciate if you could follow me on Facebook or Instagram. If you're into Twitter I'm there too. Cheers.

That's it for this one. Can't wait to share some more with you very soon.

Take care.

Jerry
